The Business Development Lead will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing client base, supporting the Industrial and Construction business unit to achieve year on year growth in line with the company targets. The suitable candidate will have a proven track record of working within a technical sales role, preferably having extensive knowledge of water management techniques.

KEY ACTIVITIES & TASKS

Identify opportunities for deployment of OSSO mobile water treatment solutions

Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers

Carry out site surveys to understand the client’s site-specific issues and obtain necessary samples for in-house analysis

Work with the technical team and management team, scope suitable treatment chains and generate associated proposals following the OSSO standards

Following company standards, input and update the sales CRM package to ensure accurate pipeline forecasting

Draft and issue proposals and manage the sales process from initial engagement to project closeout

Work with the marketing team to promote and effectively position the service offerings on various external mediums

Present/deliver training courses to clients (lunch and learns, toolbox talks and CPD course)

Liaise with clients and key industry stakeholders for specific technical matters where appropriate

Represent the company’s business policies in various conferences, trade fairs and networking events to establish new relationships and attract clients

Identify emerging markets and provide supporting evidence to aid market entry

Uk travel with potential overnight stays

Personal Specification

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION

Degree qualification preferred (notably in a Science discipline)
