The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in ether electrical or mechanical engineering and have a “can do” attitude. Ideal but not essential, a proven track record within the water treatment sector would be advantageous. The role will be based out of our Warwickshire depot, however due to the nature of the work and the national coverage we offer; travel and overnight stays away will be highly likely.
KEY ACTIVITIES & TASKS
Assisting in the delivery, installations and commissioning of modular mobile water treatment solutions your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Prepare and maintain modular water treatment units in readiness for rapid deployment
Install, commission and service when necessary water treatment units onsite using both electrical and mechanical expertise
Deliver familiarisation training to client personnel on the use of the equipment obtaining signatures of all attendees for good record keeping
Ensure all company site documentation is completed in full and where necessary signatures are obtained from the client
Act as client point of contact should technical support be required, providing over the phone diagnostics initially and attending site should further assistance be deemed necessary
Assist in finalising equipment schedules for hire and sales where required to do so.
Obtain quotes and raise requisitions for parts, equipment and services for approval.
Maintaining critical spares stock levels in both vans and stores
Record and report relevant information for stock control, invoicing and ordering purposes
Liaise with all departments, to ensure seamless delivery of service and maintain client expectations
Ensure end clients are supported with appropriate technical services and handover information
Be familiar with and adhere to the companies safe working practices maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times
Assess job tasks risks identifying hazards, mitigating risks and solving operational issues.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION
As a minimum you will be degree qualified or greater in either electrical, chemical or mechanical engineering.
